What I did for change the world was animal abuse. The reason I chose this topic is, because I foster animals from Write Way Rescue. This topic really makes me wounder what some people think, and what goes on in some peoples heads. One reason I foster is because I really like animals. What I do for animals is I will wake up at four in the morning and I will sleep in the kitchen just to make sure they don't wake us up.

Art Supplies for ChildServ

For my change the world project I picked the topic of child abuse. Since there isn't a lot of opportunities for kids my age to do hands on charity work with kids who have been abused, I decided to help the people that can help the kids. I went around my neighborhood and asked people if they had any school supplies/art supplies that they could donate. I'm going to donate all the supplies to a group home/therapy center for kids who were abused or neglected called ChildServ. It felt so good to know that I did something to brighten someone else's day. What these kids have been through is so horrible. It was such a great experience to be able to help. Now I know that one small action really can make a big impact. What will you do to CHANGE THE WORLD?

for my change the world project me and my classmate katey Goldman wanted to benefit cancer children. we walked around her neighborhood and collected donations. in total we collected 40$. We then went to toys r us and donated this money to Alex's lemonade stand. this organization is very special because its all about a girl named Alex who had cancer and decided she wanted to raise money for it by having a lemonade stand. A little while after she passed away and now her legacy lives on as people all around the world collect money and host lemonade stands to collect money for cancer.

My change the world topic was on teen drug abuse. After much research I discovered that one of the main causes of drug abuse is low self esteem. I thought that I could focus in on that for the action I would take. After a lot of brainstorming I finally came up with a idea. I printed out sheets of paper saying "There's always a friend just around the corner!" Then my mom and I went around to local stores and asked if we could hang our signs up on their windows or post boards. Some stores we stopped at were, Starbucks, Kidsnips, and UPS. You could also make a difference by doing a few nice things every day:)

For my change the world project I wanted to give back to kids with cancer. I feel these kids deserve a happy and fun filled life considering their situation and what they are going through. I decide I was going to donate to a foundation. This foundation is called “Alex's lemonade stand” Alex was a child who was diagnosed with cancer and passed away. l decide in order to collect money I was going to go door to door telling them about the cause and what they can do help. Liv Ludwig and bailey Yellen also helped me and we worked together great. It was hard back but I know this donation will impact many kids greatly.
