Sam Yaffe and I visited the local grocery store to collect a bunch of non-perishable food items into food baskets that will be donated to a local food pantry. We made 24 food baskets consisting of everything from canned foods to boxes of pasta. Both Sam and I had the same "Change the World" topic, Child Poverty in Africa. Although this task we completed is not helping children in Africa, it is helping people living in poverty. This topic interested me because I always felt some sympathy for those who aren't as fortunate as I am , and aren't supplied with daily needs to live a healthy lifestyle. This project was a great experience and it made me feel good to have done something to help change the world for the better.
